No more bumps, uneven skin tone, acne from sweaty workout clothes - all gone and clear and smooth. Also - it helps get body sunscreen off after outdoor workouts, plus it's the only thing that really gets deodorant residue totally off my armpits - just don't press so hard. That being said, I NEEDED to reach out and tell you how great the Buffing Bar is. I've tried every exfoliation under the sun to manage ingrown hairs, KP on my arms, and strawberry skin legs. I truly just thought these would all be forever sorts of things and that actual body exfoliation was kind of a myth. But then I saw the Buffing Bar and had to order it.... I finished the last of my exfoliator in plastic packaging (that I now realize really didn't do too much) and started using this last week. I was a sucker for the packaging, and the color and figured it couldn't hurt to try. Today I reached down to my leg and was SHOCKED when I realized how smooth it was. But not, because I’m extremely happy with it. I’ve also spent my share of time with things like the Salux cloth, which I love but think may secretly be a ploy to see how willing I am to use a dish scrubber on my body just because the internet recommended it. Featured Product Review: Buffing Bar I truly appreciate this bar soap. It leaves my skin feeling very clean & soft. The keratosis on my upper arms has improved, but is not gone completely. However, I just started using the soap three weeks ago, so things could continue to improve with further use. The only reason I gave this soap 4 stars instead of 5: the price. I understand why it is most likely pricey, but it is still an fairly expensive price tag for soap. Featured Product Review: Buffing Bar I was looking for something to help with ingrown hairs and using this consistently has helped so much. I am pretty skeptical because there are so many products claiming to help with ingrowns out there but this really did the trick when used regularly. Also, it is a good price for two because the bars last a long time -- you only need to use it a few times a week and not for long at all so it lasts much longer than a bar of soap. My only suggestion is to not use it too much or scrub hard/for too long -- which is tempting because it is fun and effective. Since my KP has been one of my insecurities, I was hoping the soap would help. I surely was not disappointed. Although it didn't get rid of my KP altogether, it greatly reduced the roughness and blurred the look of it. It's also great that my partner who's skin is very sensitive and easily reactive to skincare has been using it as well with no problems. I've tried a bunch of scrubs and tools to try and keep that area exfoliated--they either don't work at all or are too harsh on my skin. The buffing is perfect because you can control the amount of pressure you use. It's also less messy than sticky sugar scrubs and has a nice mild scent. So much more effective than a gel scrub/ other bars - crystals are super fine and you can really 'grind'. The Baby Foot approach freaks me out, so I was really excited to see this product when it came out, and I’m happy to say it’s helping! I assumed it's just been from wearing incredibly tight jeans in 2010s and sleeping in granny panties. I've tried other exfoliants (chemical + pumice stones) to no avail - I had kind of gotten to the point that I assumed it was never going to go away, which was really sad because having bumps on your butt sucks. Buffing Bar started working within the week. It left me feeling insecure, ugly, and ashamed that I couldn't figure out how to make it go away. I have used every type of scrub, every type of soap, every type of lotion/cream and chemical peel. NOTHING worked and in some cases my KP got worse or my skin became raw and scarred from over exfoliating (even though the bumps were still there!)
