THERAPLUSH
User Manual

Thank you for purchasing Theraplush, the first-of-its-kind overnight hand repair mask. Its iconic packaging system was designed to protect the integrity of the formula’s .05% pure retinol, while allowing users to keep and reuse the necessary, though non-recyclable, airless pump component.

To ensure a long and good-looking life for your Theraplush case, please refer to the assembly, refill, and care instructions below.

TO PREP

Clean hands and work surface before assembling, or disassembling your case. Avoid touching the cream inside the open pod, and the inside surfaces of the pump component. This reduces the risk of introducing impurities into the packaging, which, along with the formula’s preservative system, will help keep your case free of contamination.

Take a “before” photo to track your progress.

First-Use Assembly Instructions

Step 1: To disassemble, remove the lid and unscrew the bottom third of the case.

Step 2: Working quickly to limit the cream’s exposure to air, remove foil from the pod, taking care not to dip fingers into the cream.

Step 3: Place the open pod in the bottom third of the green case, and screw the pump component securely on top.

Step 4: Immediately pump out excess air until cream surfaces. This limits the formula’s exposure to air and keeps it fresher for longer.

Step 5: Place the case at your bedside to use Theraplush as the last step before bed.

TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Apply Theraplush nightly as the last step before going to sleep. Removing magnetic lid, press pump 2-3 times to dispense treatment amount, and massage onto the backs of hands and cuticles, then press into palms. Take care to wipe any excess from surface of pump, and replace lid. The formula gloves hands in a lightweight, soft-wax finish while you sleep.

Refill Instructions

Though frequent users may not find it necessary to clean your case each time you refill, we recommend following the deep cleaning instructions at least every six months to maintain a clean environment inside your case. If deep-cleaning, have around eight clean cotton buds, a clean tissue, and rubbing alcohol handy.

Step 1: To disassemble, remove the lid and unscrew the bottom third of the case.

Step 2: Remove the pod from the pump component. (Take care to not touch the inner surface of the pump, though cream leftover inside of the old pod can be used immediately. The empty pod can be recycled.)

If not deep cleaning, skip to Step 5.

Step 3: For the occasional deep clean, using clean cotton buds, gently scoop remaining cream from the inside of the pump component, taking care not to push it into the crevices of the green case. Wipe remaining residue away with a clean tissue.

Step 4: Dip a clean cotton bud into rubbing alcohol and gently swab over the inner surfaces of the pump, and across the outer top surface of the pump. Take care not to apply rubbing alcohol to the green portions of the case (cleaning instructions on this below). Allow to dry if needed.

Step 5: Working quickly to limit the cream’s exposure to air, remove foil from the new pod, taking care not to dip fingers into the cream.

Step 6: Place the open pod in the bottom third of the green case, and screw the pump component securely on top.

Step 7: Immediately pump out excess air until cream surfaces. This limits the formula’s exposure to air and keeps it fresher for longer.

Step 8: Place the case at your bedside to use Theraplush as the last step before bed.

To keep the outside of your Theraplush case clean and polished, avoid using harsh surface cleaners like Windex, which will damage the material. Instead, rub with a soft cloth (like the kind used for cleaning eyeglasses), and if you prefer to use a cleaning agent, we recommend NOVUS brand #1 Plastic Clean & Shine.
