The scent isn't strong nor does it linger but it is so reminiscent of your dad's Irish Spring bar soap with the zesty tonka whiffs. I love the soap home! I find the product to be quite beautiful. I love how the bright blue bar pops against the soft pink ❤️ I think it’s a really unique design and I love that it has a cover to protect the bar from water in the shower. Since I have a smaller shower I think that’s why I was having trouble keeping my bar out of the splash zone. I was a bit nervous that it wouldn’t fit properly on the ledge in my shower but it actually fit just right. I appreciate that it feels heavy and sturdy- I have peace of mind that it will stay put and I don’t have to worry about it falling off the shelf. I also love that the cover part that you are picking up to access your bar is not breakable! I am still not sure about when I would put the metal part on the bottom as opposed to on the top, I just lift it and grab the bar then set it back in place.I would recommend this product to: I would definitely recommend to anyone who has a smaller shower space where it’s tricky to keep your products dry.Matt Tester

Functionally excellent and a very clever design. The buffing bar doesn’t stick to the ribbed ceramic dish which is a huge plus, and the splash shield is a very innovative way to extend the life of the buffing bar (or any other soap). The colors are also excellent - the vibrant blue is sure to go with most decor. I don’t have a need for the use case of storing the cover under the soap dish but I could see how that would be helpful for some.I would recommend this product to: All buffing bar users who want to extend the life of their buffing bars, especially in the shower. I love it! To be totally frank I was initially skeptical it would solve my problem (slimy, brown-hued buffing bar that I had to return to the bathroom to periodically flip like a pancake in order to get it to fully dry) but it absolutely did! The Soap Home is chic and fits perfectly on my little shower supply shelf, and the Buffing Bar was basically completely dry post-shower in as little time as I was. I think my only thing is that the movement/assembly of the splash cover from cover to stand doesn't feel super practical to me mid-shower — I have been more inclined to just lift the splash cover, use my bar, and replace the bar under the top. My first thought when opening the Soap Home — wow, this looks and feels even more luxurious than I expected! I love the thoughtfulness of the design— using non plastic materials, the ridge motif throughout, and the cute “S” on the underside of the base. I was excited to bring this beautiful item into my bathroom. Once in use, it delivered as expected. It looks beautiful, and protects the Buffing Bar beautifully. My one complaint, is that this home isn’t one you can travel with— not only because of the fragile ceramic base, but also because the lid doesn’t close securely with the bar able to slide out either side.I would recommend this product to: I’d recommend the Soap Home to anyone who already is using the Buffing Bar! Since I continually preach on the magic of the bar I’m sure I’ll start adding this in to my routine recs.
